The curling season is just around the corner! Want to learn how to curl? The Mankato Curling Club offers Learn-to-Curl classes throughout the year.
These one-time sessions provide basic instruction for beginners who have never curled before, as well as for those looking for a quick refresher. Whether you’re simply curious and want to give curling a try, looking for a fun evening out, or hoping to learn the basics to prepare for league play — this is the place to start!

🧊 Beginner Mini League
A Great Next Step After Learn-to-Curl!
If you’ve already taken a Learn-to-Curl class and want to curl more — but without committing to a full season — our Mini Beginner League is a perfect next step!
This short instructional league is designed for curlers with 0–2 years of experience. You do not need to be a club member to sign up, though members with limited experience are also welcome. Instructors will be on the ice each week to answer questions and provide tips on delivery, strategy, rules, etiquette, and more.
December Session Details:
- Starts: December 6
- League Nights: Fridays, 6:15 PM – 8:30 PM
- Dates: December 5, 12, and 19
- Cost: $40 per person

If you haven’t taken a Learn-to-Curl prior to December 5 and would like to join the Mini League, please arrive at 5:30 PM on the first night for basic instruction before play begins.
