All three of the Juniors who curled at Junior Nationals this week are coming home with a medal. Team Runing (Melissa Runing and Aly Deegan) qualified for the playoff round with an exciting extra-end tiebreaking game. The High Performance team (Caiti Flannery) finished the round robin with a record of 5-2. These two teams faced each other in the first round of the playoffs on Friday night. The High Performance team was able to move on to the gold medal round where they fell to the gold medal winner. Team Runing was able to win the bronze medal and Caiti Flanner ended the tournament with a silver medal. The Mankato Curling Club is proud of these girls and wish them the best of luck.
