Leave the Mankato Curling Club at 10:00am. Head north up the Scenic Byway cruising thru the small towns of Ottawa and Henderson before stopping at Rapids Lake Wildlife Refuge for a bathroom break. We'll then continue on heading North East skirting the Cities and winding along the many lakes toward Watertown where we'll stop and have lunch at the Luse Line Lodge. Once back on the bikes, we'll continue just a few minutes to Woodland Hill Winery (731 County Road 30 SE, Delano Mn.). Long time friends, curlers and Mankato members, Doug and Terri Roy now work with their family on this beautiful winery. (woodlandhillwinery.com) Make sure to bring some wine home. From there we'll head South down Highway 25 to a bathroom break in the place the Hamburger was invented (some of the information found here may not be accurate). Then to Henderson Mn, again stopping for a bathroom break/stretch. (sorry for all the stops, but Roxanne will be with us) Plus for those with a sweet tooth, Henderson has a great ice cream shop. Then on to St. Peter where everyone is invited to stop at our place for burgers and brats... As always, this is not a fund raiser, just an excuse to get together. So, there is no cost to ride. Bring friends and family. No bike? Bring convertibles, or just roll down your windows, or contact us to see if you can ride along with someone. The total trip will be about 150 miles in the saddle.
